They also do this in order to assist who can handle the intensity and who is strong enough to be on the team.
Bur forms of hazing can start as first as when children can start playing sports, but it is seen to be more severe starting in high civilise and college when the competitive level is more intense. The reason why athletes participate in these types of initiations is so that they have the need to feel apart of the team and so the residual of the team will like them.
