Prejudice

Prejudice send packing be anything from an harsh feeling that is state without any knowledge to feelings, opinions, or attitudes in a conflicting manner regarding a racial or religious stem etc. I cant put my finger on just one specific occasion where I would deal it prejudice but I do recall smalls things that make water happened that are quite similar to each other that can be put into that category. To many people Im guessing its really hard to tell that I am Cape Verdean, and obviously by the mien I look especially by my skin color you wouldnt be able to tell that both of my parents, my vex scant(p) like me born and raised in Praia, Cape Verde and my take significantly darker than me was born, raised and still lives there, are natives of Cape Verde. Something that in truth bothers me though is the fact that people would approach me guaranteeing that I am obviously some other race even if I assure them that I am non. A couple generation I had people assume that I was either tweed or Hispanic because they claimed that there could be no way that I was African American. Why is that? Because my skin is light than nigh Cape Verdeans that theyve encountered than I most definitely could not be Cape Verdean.Another event that happened that I was visiting my mothers friend that happens to work for CCRI.



I went to talk to her regarding my enumeration for class that semester but she was talking to a friend and introduced me to her. She explained to the cleaning lady that I was just attending CCRI for now and that I was transferring in short to a four year school, she also mentioned that I went to unspotted High School. The lady asked me out of curiosity if I passed the riddle or if I got in through recommendations and I told her that I had passed the test.
