Both should set up something by means of an interesting detailed comparison-contrast of two colligate items.
TOPICS: Choose a topic that relates directly to two or three of our texts, one that you can prove logically and with unused insight (not just the ideas that we discuss in class), and that your reader go out find interesting. Many good ideas come from the notes you take piece reading, in class, and from peer editing sessions.
THESIS: Its not enough that your ideas can merely be compared or contrasted. tho that when you do compare them:

3.Exploring the topics this way proves a broader point that is relevant to diminutive debate on the text.
Make an explicit thesis controversy in some prominent positionâ€"probably at the end of the first or second paragraph.
