Learning from the Risk Takers in My Life

Taking risks has always been a natural progression for me, if I feel strongly about something I indispensability, I go after it. Now that does not mean that I neer get nervous about taking on unseasoned ventures in life, it simply means when I look back up on the two generations of risks takers in my family, I know if I do not try, I cannot move forward and that gives me the pledge I need to tackle whatever life puts in front of me, for example, my father was eighteen years old when he came to this country in search of a new life. He wanted a new life so badly, that he put his very existence in danger to educate it. For him, the risk of obtaining the American Dream far outweighed the danger to his life. The American Dream for my dad was to be with his family, who had already made it to the unify States, and overly build a family of his own. Upon arrival, my dad began working with my grandpa at our family owned business as an upholsterer. Even though the work was hard, it was harder due to the language barrier. He knew immediately that he would have to learn the language in order to succeed. It was and then that he began going to night school after work, and it is also where he met my mom.
