Granberry ETH/125 June 4, 2011 Melody De La Cruz I hump in sm all in all town America where everybody is judged by their character rather of their race or ethnic background. My itsy-bitsy town is Devine, Texas, a town of 4,329 people as of 2009, about 40 miles southwest of San Antonio, Texas. According to the United States Census Bureau website 66.1% of Devine’s creation ar Hispanic, 30.7% are White, .8% are Native American, and 2.4% are dickens or more races. The different groups are dispersed throughout the town with no distinct areas for certain races. Higher income families live around or near the Golf Course or on the outskirts of town on acreage home sites. The trim back income families tend to live near the center of town stiff to the railroad tracks or in one of the two quick home parks. I am a 44 course of instruction old white male and live in an sometime(a) area of town, I would be considered mid to downcast income. The races are not separated in any way. We are all neighbors here and most of us know and socialize with separately other regardless of race or ethnic background. I do not think anyone in Devine is treated otherwise because of their race or ethnic background. If this does happen I fool never been made aware of it by any of my friends or acquaintances.
